This vintage Japanese set of two UFOs is still on the colorful original card.  The card is 4.25 inches (11 cm) wide and 10.5 inches (27 cm) tall. There are two tin bodied flying saucers with vinyl-plastic propeller-like wings and rings. The round tin saucer (1 and 3/8 inches in diameter) has blue litho with stars, planets and a rocketship. The propellers are almost 5 inches across.
The other saucer is a space station, mostly yellow and red, 1 inch diameter. The propellers are 5.25 inches across. The B version has a red band that says Space Station.
The two saucer-like space ships can be made to spin and fly by placing them on the twisted wire stick and pushing up. These toys are still sealed on the original card but I had one before that was not and the simple mechanism worked great. This item was made in Japan for the Japanese market.
There are four
variations of this toy. The main satellite is either a blue or yellow and there are A and B versions (
variations concern the space station saucer...different color center bands...
red or yellow). This is version B with the blue satellite.
